The Two Dames
In 2016 Vintage Vendetta Productions had a realisation, a gap in their line-up; oh horror! There was no show that catered to the 1920's! Cue the formation of the irrepressible Two Dames.
Premiering their stand-alone show Two Dames, A Piano and a Whole Lot of Giggle Water to a sell out season at the Adelaide Fringe Festival 2017 the Two Dames received glowing accolades and a four star rating. In 2018 they bought their irreverent gin soaked show to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival garnering a fabulous five star rating after a wonderfully received run at The Space. Please don't hesitate to contact us about booking this fabulous 1920's cabaret show within the UK.

Two Dames, A Piano and a Whole Lot of Giggle Water
The effervescent 'Two Dames' are American Heiress, Ruby (Merrilyn Greer) and East-End social climber, Hester (Catherine Hearne). The show gives you a glimpse into their lifestyle of gin, idle merriment and frivolity bound together by fabulous 1920s songs: George & Ira Gershwin, Cole Porter, Irving Berlin, Noel Coward, Duke Ellington, Bessie Smith and more. The Two Dames add their own style to blues, barbershop, Broadway and beyond. If you love the fizz, glamour and sounds of the Roaring Twenties then you will love this cheeky cabaret. Pass the gin darling!
"Presented with a great deal of warmth and good humour... Beautiful costumes, classic songs from two talented performers, a light-hearted production which left the audience smiling - simply great entertainment"

Southside Advertiser, Edinburgh, 2018
"Impeccably dressed for the era, both have beautiful voices, perfectly suited to these arrangements of this kind of music and the songs are all appropriately fun, high-spirited numbers....the overall result being an hour of fun, silliness and wonderful renditions of classic hits."
