The Bailey Dolls

The Bailey Dolls were originally formed in Australia by three vintage loving dolls in 2010. Their shared love of bygone eras and big movie musicals of the 1940's and 50's led them to embrace music made famous by the Andrews Sisters, The Boswell Sisters, Glen Miller and more! To set the Dolls apart from other Vintage Trios they established their own charming, 'golden era of Hollywood' inspired characters early on, who continue to enhance the overall entertainment all of their shows and delight audiences.

In 2015, with the move of one of the dolls to the UK, the group launched a UK lineup based in London. The current UK dolls are Merrilyn Greer (Rita), Catherine Hearne(Kitty), Gillian Quinn (Ronnie) and Faye Ainley (Violet). Usually performing as a trio, the cast can grow to four or more for their live-band cabaret shows. All cast members are professional actor/singers who trained professionally at the American Musical Theatre Academy of London (Merrilyn, Catherine and Faye) and Phil Winston’s Theatreworks (Gillian).

To keep up the international link both UK Dolls unite annually with Australian Doll, Leah Potter (Edie) to perform to sold out crowds for the Adelaide Fringe Festival. They most recently returned to Adelaide in Febuary 2017 to perform two shows ; 'I'll Be Seeing You' and 'The Vintage Variety Hour' alongside The Bailey Beaus to rave reviews and glowing accolades.

"The show is reminiscent of the 40s and is a visual feast as well as a banquet for the ears… A slick, glamorous, thoroughly entertaining show... comedy and beautiful harmonies. Highly recommend, 5 Stars"
